September Offerings
Adult :
Time: 9am-12pm

Ages: 18+ (4-17 w/adult as an attendee)

Price: $20 for 1; $30 for 2
Every second Saturday Three Door Studios hosts Open Studio from 9-12pm. Open studio is three hours of drop in, uninstructed creative time. Drop in, bring a project, coffee, use our supplies or bring your own, come make a new friend, or don’t…we don't care. Just come, hangout, and create!
Your ticket includes, use of designated supplies from all three Three Door Studios artists, space to create both inside and outside, coffee and water. Feel free to bring your own snacks for yourself or to share.
Supplies up for use:
Mixed media tools such as markers, magazines, scissors from Emily of The Playful Space
Sewing supplies including sewing machines, fabric, rulers, thread, from Amanda of The Studio Bakersfield
Acrylic paint, brushes, printing/stampling tools from Madison Cowan
September Adult workshop:
Learn to operate a sewing machine and hem your clothing
Time: 10am-2pm
Date: 9/20
Ages: 18+ (16-17 w/adult as an attendee)
Location: Three Door Studios

$65 full workshop
$50 half workshop
Join us in learning to operate a sewing machine (bring your own or use one of ours) and hem a personal garment or two.
10am-11:45 We will learn how to operate a sewing machine
12-2pm We will learn a simple straight stitch hem.

Beginner
4 weeks long starting 9/3
Date: Wednesdays 9/3, 9/10, 9/17, 9/24
Time: 3:30-5pm
Ages: 8-14

Students will learn to operate a sewing machine and make a pencil pouch
Intermediate
8 weeks long starting 9/2
Date: Tuesdays 9/2, 9/9, 9/16, 9/23,9/30, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20
Time: 1:30-3:30 or 4-6pm
Ages: 8-14

Students will make their own costumes!
Students will schedule a time to chat with Ms. Amanda about their design
Fabric shopping the Saturday before class (8/30) at F&M fabrics
8 weeks to complete a piece of their costume or the whole costume (depending on how long the project will take).
Students must feel confident in operating a sewing machine and cutting fabric to be in this class.
