We invite you to RETHINK THRIFT with this creative event where 20+ designers will use second-hand materials to create a full look.


2027 theme: Elements
Earth, Air, Fire, and Water. Interpret these elements through color, texture, movement, shape, and material.

Beyond the runway, Revive the Runway serves a greater mission. This event benefits the local nonprofit Dreams Reimagined Inc, an organization dedicated to helping survivors of domestic violence rebuild their lives through clothing and essential home donations.

Revive the Runway is more than a fashion show — it’s a celebration of renewal, resilience, and creative expression. Join us as we revive materials, reimagine fashion, and honor California through community-driven design.

  • Elements: Earth, air, fire, water. Interpret these elements through color, texture, movement, shape, and material

  • Competition designers: You will not be disqualified for not incorporating the theme into your design but judges will potentially dock you points for not using the theme in your design

    Jr designers: Not required, but encouraged.

  • Currently set for World Records (same as 2026). Once that is solidified, we will announce the official location.

  • Our committee will be reviewing all submissions and placing designers in a category based on what is submitted.

    Expert category will have the choice to do one look or 3 looks.

  • Upon receiving the acceptance email and the designer committing to the competition, there will be payment instructions emailed.
